Beth Still
Beth is the K-12 Innovative Teaching and Learning Specialist for Gering Public Schools in Gering, Nebraska. She is a Google Educator and is a soon to be Google Certified Teacher. Beth is the founder of the ISTE Newbie Project, a project which celebrates the importance of being a connected educator. She is passionate about the importance of being a connected educator and works diligently to help others discover the power that comes from being connected. Sean is a former fourth and fifth grade math, science, and language arts teacher with an insatiable passion for technology. Currently, he works for the West Morris Regional High School District in Chester New Jersey as their digital information specialist. In this capacity he is responsible for helping spearhead district technology initiatives, supporting teachers and students through professional development opportunities, advising the student led tech team and genius bar, and promoting a school culture of innovation. In addition, Sean is a Google Certified Teacher, Google Education Trainer, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and co-host of The State of Tech podcast.
JR is a dynamic teacher, international presenter, technology trainer, and consultant on educational technology topics and applications. He is a Google Certified Teacher, Google Education Trainer, Lead Learner for the Google Teacher Academy, and loves encouraging teachers to inspire today’s learners. When he’s not trying to save the world, JR is a Digital Learning Coach for Tustin Unified School District in southern California. Michael Jaber is a nationally recognized Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Teacher who has worked closely with the Google Education Team and presented at numerous conferences across the country, as a keynote, and as a featured presenter. Michael has a long history within education. He spent 18 years in the classroom as a social studies teacher, which eventually transitioned into a technology coaching role, and now leads the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Area School District as their Instructional Technology Coordinator. He has trained multiple school districts around the world on how to approach 1:1 initiatives, along with teaching how to fully harness the power of Google Apps and web resources in schools. Michael’s mission for 2015 is to focus on the topic of Instructional Technology Coaching that works. This is Michael's first trip to TXGoo and he is really excited about this event!
Kyle Pace
Kyle Pace, an Instructional Technology Specialist, has worked with K-12 teachers in his current school district to provide instructional technology professional development since 2004 with prior experience in the elementary classroom. Kyle currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology. Kyle champions to support teaching and learning with meaningful technology integration using a multitude of technologies. Kyle has a strong passion for sharing with teachers, administrators, students, and parents about the impact that educational technology can have on adult and student learning.
